Please see the responses to questions asked during the June Agency Touchpoint. Feel free to contact the eOPF Help Desk with any follow up questions.
DRS:
Q: Will there be a timeframe that a former or separated employee can request access to their eOPF through Login.gov (e.g., access available for up to 90 days after separation)?

A: Yes, communications will be sent out once the system has been made public.
Q: Will former employees receive their records as a ZIP file?
A: Yes, users will receive their documents via ZIP format.

Q: Is there a time frame on the production of various reports? Ex. SF-1150 data feed summary/detail report or data feed detailed report
A: We are currently in the process of working with leadership to understand the prioritization of reports amongst other high impact functionalities in the upcoming quarter.
GPPA
Q: Do the updates made to the GPPA need to be communicated?
A: HR LOB will be communicating about the GPPA changes and the Navigator through all of its regular channels. We have an extensive communications plan ready to go. If someone would like to receive our emails, they can send their address to HRLOB@opm.gov.
Q: How does the Navigator determine the appropriate personnel action name and ensure it meets the definitions and criteria for the applicable? For example, how would it handle a change in duty station in which NOA 792 applies except when pay changes and different chapter rules apply?
A: The Navigator does not determine the appropriate personnel action. The HR Specialists will need to consult the GPPA pdf for Chapter 23 to ensure the proper NOA is selected. A link to the GPPA narrative information will be available in the Navigator tool.
Q: How can agencies receive GPPA updates?
A: Agencies can subscribe to the HR LOB distribution list by contacting HRLOB@opm.gov
Q: Will there be a demonstration of the GPPA Navigator that we can invite our teams to?
A: HR LOB will host office hours and provide opportunities to attend live sessions or watch recorded demonstrations.
Q: Will the chapters be titled on this page, or will there be an index?
A: Not in the first version, but an index and/or chapter titles are likely to be included in a future release.
Q: Is there a date when the digital GPPA will be ready in July?
A: A specific release date has not yet been announced. The team indicated they will share the date once it is confirmed.
Q: Was information from the GPPA (PDF) removed prior to being placed in the tool?
A: We didn't remove anything from the GPPA because of the GPPA. However, we did remove content that is not directly related to processing actions. For example, we removed and now point to sources maintained by Retirement Service, eOPF, Healthcare & Insurance, etc.
