Late-arriving documents uploaded manually or via Electronic Data Feeds are automatically forwarded to the employee's folder with the Gaining Agency or to NPRC if authorized by the Master Forms List (MFL). Unauthorized documents are marked for deletion and purged after 120 days. Automated reprocessing produces a transfer note that is similar to a regular transfer note but displays info such as Transfer Request completed via automated Transfer Reprocess.
Late-arriving documents, either manually uploaded or transmitted through the Electronic Data Feeds (EDF), will be automatically forwarded to the employee's folder with the Gaining Agency or to NPRC if the document is authorized for transfer by the Master Forms List (MFL).
Note: If the document is not indicated for transfer by the Master Forms List, it will be marked for deletion and remain in the folder for 120 days before it is automatically purged.
If a late-arriving document has been automatically reprocessed, you will see a transfer request like a regular transfer request with some changes:
- Assignee field will display Employee Feed instead of a person's name or Unassigned
- A transfer note will display Transfer request submitted by Transfer Procedure instead of a user's name
- The note will also contain a line stating Transfer Request completed via automated Transfer Reprocess
- The time of the transfer may be outside of regular working hours, e.g. 3:00 AM EST.
If you observe documents that should have reprocessed automatically remaining in employee folders, please reach out to the Help Desk.
