HR Admin or HR Transfer users can add notes to transfer requests to communicate with the other agency, such as checking status, asking questions, or indicating another HR specialist's involvement. To add a note, open the transfer request from Task Summary or Task List, type the message in the Add Note box under Activity, and click Post. The note appears in the Activity section, and the other agency sees the request with "Review Required" status in their Task Summary or Transfer List.
During a transfer, HR Admin or HR Transfer users can add a note to the transfer request to communicate with the other agency involved in the transfer.
Some examples of when it might be useful to add a note are:
- To check on the status of a transfer
- To ask questions or request any missing information about a transfer
- To indicate if another HR specialist will be working on a request
- Open any transfer request to view the request details by clicking on the transfer request row within the Task Summary or Task List.

2. In the Activity section, click into the Add Note box and type your message to the other agency.
3. Click the blue Post button.
4. The note will be published in the Activity section of the request:
Note: On the other agency’s side, this request will appear in their Task Summary or the Active tab of their Transfer List with the status “Review Required”, alerting them to open the request and read the note.
