This knowledge article details how to request an employee transfer from NPRC using the SF-127 form. Download and complete Sections 1 and 3 of the SF-127, upload it to the employee's folder, then use the Request Documents feature on the Home page to select NPRC. Enter the employee's SSN, verify their info, attach the SF-127, review all details, add notes if needed, and submit the request. Confirmation appears in the Task List's Monitoring tab.

2. Complete Section 1 and Section 3 of the SF-127 Form. Double-check all entries for accuracy and completeness.
3. Upload the prepared SF-127 to the folder of the employee to transfer (index the form as SF-127).
4. On the Home page, click the blue Request Documents button and select NPRC from the dropdown to initiate a transfer request from NPRC:
5. Enter the SSN of the employee you would like to request a transfer and press the blue Search button:
6. If the folder exists at NPRC, the employee’s information will display.
7. Review the accuracy of the information, then press the blue Select SF 127 button.
8. Select the appropriate SF 127 to attach to the transfer request and then press the Review SF 127 in the upper right-hand corner of the screen:

9. A preview of the selected SF 127 and the indexing will display:
10. Review the accuracy of the form and indexing, then press the blue Review Transfer Request below the document. (If you need to reselect an SF 127 document, press the Back button.
11. Before submitting the transfer request, review the Request Details to ensure all the information is correct:
Note: You can provide additional details for the Losing Agency in the Notes box if needed. This note will appear in the Activity section of the Request Details page.
12. Press Submit.
13. A confirmation message will display, and the request will appear in the Monitoring tab of the Task List.
